With more than 30 years of insurance industry experience, Raquel Tillman is the founder and CEO of Tillman Insurance Advisors. Prior to launching the agency in 2010, she held leadership and advisory roles with major insurance organizations, including Liberty Mutual and CNA.
Raquel earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Spelman College and an MBA in Marketing from Emory University. She also holds the prestigious Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.
An active leader in the Charlotte community, Raquel is passionate about helping individuals, families, and businesses protect what matters most. Her leadership and impact have earned numerous recognitions, including the 2021 Enterprising Women of the Year Award and the Charlotte LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce's Professional of the Year Award.
Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, Raquel remains committed to serving her clients and giving back to the communities she serves.
